As IDP continues to succeed and grow, we recognize the importance of giving back to the communities we serve. We do this in a number of ways:
IDP has been hosting a free Moodle server for teachers since 2003. The URL is www.webteachertools.com/wtt. Moodle is an open source PHP / MySQL web application developed for online learning and teaching. It is similar to other online learning software. Teachers can sign up for a free account, setup a course, have students enroll in their course, setup assignments, journals, discussion thread and take quizzes and tests. The software is free to use and we host it on one of our virtual servers at no charge to teachers or students. There are currently teachers from all around the world that use our Moodle server for an online learning environment.
Since 2005, IDP has been hosting and maintaining this church web site for free. The web site is www.grace4all.org and the church is in Lee's Summit, Missouri. There is a content management system installed on the web site that church staff can login to and make changes. Changes that need to be made outside of the CMS system are sent to IDP.
IDP is currently developing a new e-commerce web site for Timbali Crafts which we will launch in 2012. The web site is being built with Magento ECommerce software. Timbali Crafts is an organization in Swaziland, South Africa that helps AIDs orphans. There is a group of older women in Swaziland that care for the AIDs orphans. The women make purses and sell them in order to raise money. The new web site will be used to sell the Swaziland purses online.
