- Web design experience
- Graphic Design Degree or Related Experience
- Expert with Adobe CS4 Suite (Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Etc)
- Joomla! and Wordpress themes/skins and experience a requirement
- Expert use of CSS and HTML. SEO Experience a big plus.
- Experience developing search engine friendly code & CSS navigation menus
- Flash skills
- PHP (Linux) and/or ASP .NET Experience a Big Plus
- Visual Studio Experience
- jQuery / AJAX experience a plus
- Magento E-Commerce Experience a Plus
- Ability to learn new technologies and be on the forefront of emerging web technologies
- Hard working, problem solver & self motivated. Can manage project from start to finish
- Design mockups for company websites and then turn these mockups into interactive, highly polished websites for our customers. Candidate should know typical web guidelines (W3C) HTML Standards and CSS Standards.
- Professional layout of text and graphics
- Logo development and similar graphic design tasks
- Home page media element development (Flash, JQuery, Slideshow, etc)
- Setup submit forms and validation
- Test & troubleshoot work. Debug browser compatibility issues.
- Solve problems and create great web sites
- Communicate with IDP project manager and customer
- Develop themes/skins for Jooma!, Wordpress and Magento CMS/E-Commerce systems
- Assist Sales in providing time/cost estimates for potential projects

IDP is extremely excited about this new opportunity to take over web hosting and web design services for DI Interactive. Existing DI Interactive customers will not notice any disruption in service. The IDP Team has worked previously with DI Interactive and Benton Boyd on several projects, and we share a similar commitment to customer service as well as similar service offerings: Web Design, Web Hosting, Search Engine Optimization, and Web Application Programming. We will continue to provide the support and creative solutions you are accustomed to currently as well as additional service offerings.

IDP is launching a new web site. This is our 5th web site since 2003. There have been a lot of changes in the web development world and we wanted to incorporate some of these technologies on our new web site. We have also had some marketing changes and needed to update our brand online. Our new slogan is now incorporated – “Putting the Web to Work for YOUR Business”.
The home page features an accordian information section done in JQuery. This has become a popular method of organizing content on your home page under different sections. All of the necessary copy is still present for search engines, but it looks nicer to “hide” it under different categories. Plus the drop down “bounce” effect is pretty cool.
Our new navigation bar is ultra slim and plain text links maximize search engine results. Search engines drive a lot of the web development and programming on the site because we rely so heavily on search results for new business.
The testimonials on the home page are a new feature on GOIDP 5.0. The news blog is also new. We changed our Recent Web Design projects to rotate across the top using JQuery instead of along the right hand column.
The Portfolio page has also changed quite a bit. We organized our portfolio into categories so that it is easier to find projects related to your business.

IDP sponsored a local robotics team in Lee’s Summit, Missouri. The team was composed of 6th graders at Cedar Creek Elementary. The Robotics coach is Phil Fleming, who is a high school teacher in Blue Valley School District. The team competed at Lee’s Summit High School. Check out the robot and team pictures. Go IDP robot! The kids did a great job at the competition. Each boy got to drive the robot twice at the competition.
