The Technical Details About the KC Web Design Project

The KC web design project for Smoke N Fire is another WordPress project. The project included web design, graphic design, web page mockups, web development, WordPress development, mobile responsive development, E-Commerce, product import into WooCommerce, WooCommerce development, Search Engine Optimization, WordPress security, WordPress speed optimization and web hosting.

The most important part of the KC web design project since it is an E-Commerce website were the product pages and checkout. We used WooCommerce for the shopping cart software. After installing and configuring WooCommerce we imported all of the existing products into the store. One neat feature is the product popup view where you click to view details and a popup box appears to easily add to cart.

The product pages turned out great we were very pleased. We integrated customer testimonials on the product pages as well as related products.

Another cool part of the project is the full width mega menu. The main navigation menu uses full width drop down menus with images and links that appear in the drop down menu area.
